What is a resin coated photo paper?
Resin coated photographic paper is generally thinner than fiber, weight about 200, 230 / 240, 250 / 260, 270 / 280 gsm. The paper is sealed between layers of polyethylene, topped with an emulsion and a supercoating. Because the paper is completely sealed in the resin layer, it does not absorb any liquid. That's why resin-coated paper is quick to clean and the chemicals never penetrate the paper itself. Another advantage is that the paper dries quickly and smoothly.
